Our Heroes
This is the story of fifteen Latino firefighters who went up the World Trade Center that Tuesday morning and never came out. Several of them had broken down barriers: the only Puerto Rican in the firehouse, one of the first Hispanics to join the Fire Department. All of them were doing their jobs, the extraordinary job of putting the lives of others ahead of their own.

Ésta es la historia de quince bomberos latinos que subieron al World Trade Center el 11 de septiembre y nunca volvieron a bajar. Muchos de ellos eran precursores: el único puertorriqueño en su compañía, uno de los primeros hispanos en el Departamento de Bomberos. Todos ellos estaban cumpliendo con su deber, el extraordinario deber de anteponer las vidas de otros a las suyas. Ésta es la historia de nuestros héroes.
